Scalefocus’ yearly IT Beards campaign is raising funds to help out disadvantaged children in Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Turkiye.

For the fourth year in a row the software company Scalefocus takes part in the worldwide Movember movement through its IT Beards initiative. During the month of November, the beards and moustaches of the men in the company will grow at all of its locations for a special cause: helping the smallest and most vulnerable in their struggle to grow up healthy and strong. The collected funds will be targeted to support several causes – premature children in Bulgaria, a school for blind children in North Macedonia and several individual causes chosen by the company’s team in Turkiye.

The motto of this year’s campaign is “We take care of each other and together we make an impact”, as Scalefocus aims to band together a great deal of like-minded people around the cause.

The company’s employees join the initiative by posting photos of themselves with a beard or mustache on a specially created platform and tracking their progress over the course of four weeks. This way they raise funds through voting – each point they receive costs a certain amount donated towards the causes.

Voting is also open to people outside of Scalefocus, so that anyone who recognizes the cause has the opportunity to support it. The initiative will run until the end of November and everyone who’d like to participate can do it here. The campaign is running in partnership with the BCause foundation.
